View all orchestras Phoenix FlutesPhoenix Flutes is a group for all flautists of grade 3 standard and above. 
Phoenix Flutes is the newest ensemble group to join the BOYM family. It began in September 2006 and is open to all flautists of grade 3 standard and above. Regular concerts are given, both as part of the Phoenix Youth Orchestra programme and as a separate group. Many members are also part of other groups in the organisation. Our Conductor: Phoenix Flutes will now be conducted by Carolyn Wheadon who is an experienced local teacher and flautist. She has introduced flute choirs into many local schools - and these have been enjoyed by participants and audiences alike. Rehearsals: The flute choir rehearses for 2 hours on four Sundays a term at the Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School, Queen's Road, Brentwood. Fees: The fees for each term are £30, to be paid by Standing Order |  Current documents:
