View all orchestras Phoenix Wind BandPhoenix Wind Band is a fun introduction to the skills and disciplines of ensemble playing for wind players 
Phoenix Wind Band is also a training ground for youngsters who might eventually like to join the Phoenix Youth Orchestra. At present members ages range from 9 to 18. Rehearsals: Phoenix Wind Band meets for 2 hours on three to four Sundays during each term at the The Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School in Queens Road, Brentwood. Times of sessions vary between 11.00am and 4.00pm. The programme for PWB will be based on three rehearsals per term and we will endeavour to give as much notice as possible of the dates so that, hopefully, full attendance can be achieved. Our Conductor: Pam Ambrose runs the Phoenix Wind Band, and is a well known clarinet and saxophone teacher in the area. She makes the rehearsals great fun and is the main reason why the Wind Band is the largest group in the organisation. Fees: The fee for this term is £25, to be paid by Standing Order |  Current documents:
